Since inception BodyNews.org, has regularly sought sponsorships from relevant organizations, manufacturers, and other respectable sources committed to providing pertinent health and lifestyle information. Although there is a small commercial benefit for BodyNews.org, sponsor information is mutually beneficial, the BodyNews user, by providing you with information on medications, medical devices, health services, therapies, and products available in the marketplace. BodyNews provides opportunities for sponsors to bring you their marketing message and information about their products and services by publishing their information or links within our site.  

We also allow third parties to provide funding for BodyNews to independently create information about certain topics within a specified health category. We have listed the different between these two types of content below and the steps we take to help you understand what the labels mean.                                  

We see BodyNews as an open forum where many points of view are discussed and debated with respect and understanding. BodyNews has no bias or ulterior motive, other than to provide as much useful information as possible.  The sponsored content should carry the copyright of the named sponsor or the information or accreditation of the rightful copyright owner.

 The sponsored content includes a descriptive line at the end of the content noting that BodyNews does not endorse any specific product, perspective, service, or treatment.
 

In addition to sponsored content, there are times that third parties offer to provide funding for the creation of BodyNews original content without having any influence over it. By allowing the funding of original BodyNews editorial content, we can bring you even more great, award-winning information to help you manage your health or improve make healthy changes to your lifestyle.

BodyNews works in conjunction with federal institutions and other organizations whose primary goal is to educate the public on health topics and issues. We use predetermined criteria to critique and select these organizations and work with them to select content within specific areas. The content is usually reviewed and edited by the third party and then edited and approved by BodyNews's editorial staff. By giving outside entities the ability to fund the cost of creating more unique content on BodyNews, we increase the opportunity for members to remain aware of the latest health and wellness information the Internet has to offer.

It is important to note that while Sponsors on BodyNews are subject to and must comply with guidelines from regulatory agencies such as the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC).
