The manufacturing of Perfumes brands was started since the late 1390 by Carthusia but it was only made known publicly and marketed in 1700 by Johanna Maria Farina. Its first perfume brand named Farina Eau de Cologne in 1709 and in 1714 another fragrant was created and known as Kolnisch Wasser. Later on a lot of perfume manufacturers followed.
