    •  When we do laser resurfacing, the top skin or the damaged skins will be removed with the use of the laser. The skin next to it will have to be tightened and that would be the top skin after it healed. Usually, the fastest recovery noted is 3-4 days. Some may heal more than 5 days.

    • Laser resurfacing is an acne scar repair procedure cheaper than a fractional laser therapy. This acne scar repair would hurt your pocket more than it hurts your face after the procedure but the results will make the try worth it. In a fractional laser therapy, the top skin is not removed unlike when you do laser resurfacing. It is a deeper skin resurfacing and makes the scars vanish. The results of this acne scar repair will be seen in just a few days.

    • Dermabrasion. This is the cheapest of all the laser acne treatments but it take longer time to have this done. This acne scar repair procedure uses a wire brush with a spinning diamond that will remove the top skin. As a result, scars are refined. After, our body will produce new skin cells that will then be smoother and scar-free.
  • For serious cases, surgery can be suggested. Although it is not usually practiced, this can be the best for too deep scars that laser acne treatments can handle. This would also be very expensive but the results would be great.
